Spend a day at the beach with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office on Sept. 10. That’s when the CCSO Marine Bureau will hold its 8th annual Keewaydin Cleanup. The public is invited to help pick up trash on Keewaydin Island. Transportation to the island will be provided by the Calusa Spirit leaving from Pelican Bend Restaurant on Isles of Capri and on the Sweet Liberty leaving from Naples City Dock at 8:30 a.m. and returning from the island around 12:30 p.m. Participants will enjoy this pristine stretch of coastline while doing their part to keep it clean.
